We are thinking it would be fun to meet at a fairly central park on Sunday July 25th to renew acquaintances and meet NFU friends in the great outdoors in our fair province. So, we wonder if you would like to come to Douglas Provincial Park about noon on Sunday the 25th. Many including me, have not been to this park and know it has many amenities to offer. Park entrance is free if you are a senior. $10 if you are not a senior. The meeting place will be the Picnic Shelter, a known destination for group picnics.

If you consider camping there, you will need a reservation. Book online or phone 1306-854-6266 for more information. If you think you might like to stay in a motel, there are 3 in the area: The Elbow Hotel: 1-306-854-2214;  the Elbow Sunset Suites and RV Park: 1-306-854-2144;  or the Lakeview Lodge: 1-306-881-44344 A map of the Park is enclosed.

So good folks, if you have a hankering for an outing while summer is at its best, and would like to pack up some food, or stop at a restaurant in Elbow for some take-out, please let the office or me know by July 16th. If you have a canoe, or boat, you could have great fun on Lake Diefenbaker. If you like to hike there are trails there to show off the sights. And of course if you have something to share, music or inspirations, we will be glad to be your audience.
