Everyone is welcome to attend this year’s Region 7 (Alberta) Annual Convention at the Knee Hill Valley Community Centre Hall (located ten miles east of Innisfail, Alberta, AB – see map). The Convention will be followed by a barbecue supper. Overnight camping is available at the Hall or at the Norman farm.
Registration will begin at 9:30 A.M. The Convention will commence at 10:00 A.M. The registration fee is $20 per member. Lunch will be provided.
This year’s convention speakers will include:
▪ Cam Goff, NFU 1st Vice President (Policy) — SOS (Save Our Seeds) Campaign
▪ Toby Malloy, NFU Women’s President — Wellness, mental health and agriculture
▪ Mandy Melnyk — NFU’s 50th Anniversary
▪ Regan Boychuk — Alberta’s insolvent polluters and captured regulators
Resolutions on current policy issues may be presented to this Convention and if they are passed, they will be forwarded to National Convention.
Elections will be held for National Board members, Women’s Advisory Committee , Youth Advisory Committee, and International Program Committee member, as well as nominations for the Grassroots Member Award.

From Hwy. 2 Exit Hwy. 2 at Innisfail. Then East on Hwy. 590 (10 miles), Turn Right (south) onto Range Road 265, Go 4 miles South to the T-intersection and the Hall is on your left at the T-intersection of Township rd. 350 and Range Rd. 265.
