On Wednesday October 11th at noon Eastern time, the NFU’s International Program Committee (IPC) will be hosting an on-line event on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other Peoples Working in Rural Areas (UNDROP). Speakers include Paula Gioia (a beekeeper and member of a small-scale farmer organization in Germany),  Jessie MacInnis (NFU Youth President) and Nadia Lambek (law professor, University of Western Ontario). Come learn about the importance of this historic document,  its strategic uses in the Canadian context and the transformative possibilities it can inspire.
