Region 1 National Farmers Union Convention

Join us for the Region 1 Convention hosted for the first time in Region 1 District 3 (Nova Scotia). The 2 ½ hour gathering (virtual or in-person) will be all about orienting, updating and connecting new, old and potential members in the Atlantic region. It is also our chance to develop policy and strategy, and to elect the next regional council. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate, but please note that only farmer and farm worker members may vote or run for elected positions.

Check out the Agroecology Exchange before convention taking place at Sweet Earth Farm. This event will be hosted by Karina of Odd Bulb farm and it will focus on land and resource sharing through the lens of the climate crisis. Registration is coming soon for this event. 

We look forward to connecting with you, sharing a meal, and finding solidarity in the unique agricultural issues of the Atlantic region. Hope to see you there!
