The NFU District Convention in PEI is POSTPONED. New date TBA
The National Farmers Union-PEI will hold its annual District Convention with a focus on Climate Change and Agriculture on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Milton Community Hall, 7 New Glasgow Road (corner of Rte. 7 and 224) in North Milton. The storm date is April 2. The meeting will get underway at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude by 4:00 p.m.
The keynote speaker will be National NFU Women’s President, Coral Sproule who will be speaking on Tackling the Farm Crisis and the Climate Crisis: A Transformative Strategy for Canadian Farms and Food Systems.
Don Jardine from the UPEI Climate Lab will give a local perspective on climate change.
