We will be thinking through strategies for finding off-season work, grounding ourselves in shared understanding of the inherent exploitation of farm labor in this country, and moving beyond hustle culture to think about both short and long term sustainability in this field.

We’ll be asset mapping our strengths and skills as farmworkers, thinking about winter projects and jobs that match or amplify those skills and hearing from long-term farmworkers who have creatively thought through off season-work, both for themselves and their crews, including leveraging their skills and power with the farm owners.
