Lunch buffet soup and sandwich is included with registration. \nSchedule\nRegistration  – 9:30 am\nCall to Order – 10:00 am\nLunch (included) – 12:30 pm\nAfternoon Session – 1:30 pm\nMeeting Adjournment  – 5:30 pm\nSocializing at a local restaurant TBA  -6:00 pm \nProgram\nSpeakers: \nMartin Entz\, U of M Professor and Organic Researcher speaking on Regenerative Agricultural Practices; \nMatthew Wiens\, Manitoba Agriculture – in charge of Best Management Programming delivery to MB Farmers and Made in Manitoba’s Climate Action Plan; \nKatie Ward\, NFU President: NFU Updates and Discussion (via Skype); \nStewart Wells\, NFU VP of Operations: Discussion NFU policies on Regenerative Agriculture & Seeds. \n50th Anniversary of NFU in Manitoba Discussions: Members Forum and NFU 50th Anniversary Convention in Winnipeg Updates. Open to more ideas on our celebration. \nElections: Two National Board members for Region 5; a Women’s Advisory Committee member; a Youth Advisory Committee member; an International Program Committee representative. \nNomination for the NFU Grassroots Member Award: Member Recognition of significant contribution to building the NFU. \nResolutions: Please bring written resolution(s) on farming issues that matter to you.
