SUMMARY:Region 1 Convention + Biochar workshop 2023
DESCRIPTION:It is a great honour to invite not only our fellow Islanders (District 1)\, our Acadian Family (District 2) but now officially our Schooner brothers and sisters as a newly minted District 3! We invite you all to attend the 2023 Region 1 Convention in central PEI on August 12th and 13th\, 2023. On Saturday the 12th we will be having a biochar workshop on Sweet Pea farm (2209\, Byrnes road\, Morell\, PEI) at 3pm followed by a potluck on the farm. On Sunday the 13th we will have our convention at 1pm-5pm at the Milton Community Hall Centre. The convention will also be covered on zoom for those who can’t make it in person (find information below).  \nOur Region 1 Convention will cover the new SCAP Funding programs; a national update from NFU President\,  Jenn Pfenning; and a discussion on land issues such as our ongoing farmland loss and alternative land access and succession strategies. Please refer to this page for an up to date agenda. \nResolutions form the foundation of our policy and guide our work throughout the year. Nous vous invitons tous à participer au congrès de la Région 1 les 12 et 13 août 2023. SUMMARY:Region 1\, District 1 AGM (Prince Edward Island)
DESCRIPTION:District 1 Region 1 Convention will be held on Wednesday\, April 19\, 2023 at the Milton Community Hall\, North Milton\, PEI. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting getting underway at 10:00 a.m. The registration fee of $20 per person covers the cost of registration plus the noon meal.
