Our meeting will again be held virtually from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The virtual meeting will consist of NB AGM business: year in review\, 2021 financial statements\, elections and resolutions. The National office will provide an update of their work\, and Region 1 reports will follow. The theme of the meeting is “The Power of the Union” and NB CUPE President\, Stephen Drost will speak. There will also be a short presentation about NB labour force development. \nResolutions on current policy issues may be presented at the AGM. It is preferable that you send them to us at least one week in advance\, but they will also be accepted at the AGM. Resolutions form the foundation of our policy and guide our work throughout the year. Send resolutions to info@nfunb.org. \nThis event is your opportunity to take on a leadership role with the NFU – elections will be held for the NFU-NB Board of Directors including the President\, Women’s President\, Youth President\, Secretary\, and Members-at-Large. Elections will also be held for the Regional representatives for the National Board from New Brunswick\, the National Board from Prince Edward Island\, Youth caucus\, Women’s caucus\, and International Programs Committee. We strongly encourage all members to participate at this Annual General Meeting / Convention; your participation and input is very important to our discussions\, which will provide direction for our organization. \nZOOM – The link will be emailed to members on Friday\, September 23rd.
