Selon Bill Rees, cette focalisation passe totalement \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l&rsquo;essentiel. Le r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire n&rsquo;est que le sympt\u00f4me d&rsquo;un m\u00e9ta-probl\u00e8me primordial : le d\u00e9passement \u00e9cologique (o\u00f9 les impacts soci\u00e9taux d\u00e9passent d\u00e9sormais la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de la Terre). Le d\u00e9passement est le r\u00e9sultat in\u00e9vitable d&rsquo;une croissance mat\u00e9rielle excessive sur une plan\u00e8te finie, sous l&rsquo;impulsion du capitalisme industriel et de son serviteur, l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie n\u00e9olib\u00e9rale. Les solutions politiquement acceptables au r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire ne r\u00e8glent pas le probl\u00e8me du climat, causent des dommages environnementaux suppl\u00e9mentaires consid\u00e9rables et aggravent le d\u00e9passement. Si l&rsquo;on n&rsquo;y prend garde, le d\u00e9passement est une condition terminale. Que peuvent faire les communaut\u00e9s pour accro\u00eetre leur autonomie, renforcer leur s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et se pr\u00e9munir contre la contraction \u00e0 venir ?      <br\/><br\/>UNF Rick Munroe, membre du comit\u00e9 sur le climat, apportera un contexte suppl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 cette conversation sur le d\u00e9passement et la croissance en pr\u00e9sentant sa recherche sur la sensibilisation des gouvernements \u00e0 cette question. Rick pr\u00e9sentera le niveau de sensibilisation des recherches du gouvernement du Canada sur ce sujet et indiquera si notre gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a d\u00e9j\u00e0 analys\u00e9 la contradiction entre deux objectifs concurrents : la croissance \u00e9conomique constante contre la sant\u00e9 \u00e9cologique et les besoins en ressources \u00e0 long terme. <\/p>\n\t<div
