L&rsquo;UNF \u0153uvre en faveur d&rsquo;une politique des transports con\u00e7ue pour promouvoir les int\u00e9r\u00eats \u00e9conomiques de l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie canadienne, y compris les producteurs agricoles, o\u00f9 qu&rsquo;ils se trouvent.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0bb5eff\" data-block-id=\"0bb5eff\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-left\">Les modes de transport comprennent les voies navigables, les chemins de fer, les autoroutes, les pipelines et les compagnies a\u00e9riennes. La localisation et l&rsquo;utilisation des infrastructures de transport doivent se compl\u00e9ter de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 assurer un d\u00e9veloppement rationnel de toutes les r\u00e9gions du pays, une utilisation optimale de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, des investissements en capital dans les infrastructures et des ressources humaines employ\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;industrie des transports. L&rsquo;UNF soutient le d\u00e9veloppement des transports en commun interurbains et communautaires. L&rsquo;UNF recommande de modifier la politique nationale des transports afin de reconna\u00eetre explicitement la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de lutter contre le changement climatique en r\u00e9duisant la consommation de combustibles fossiles et les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre du syst\u00e8me de transport. Le transport d&rsquo;un plus grand nombre de marchandises et de personnes par le rail plut\u00f4t que par les autoroutes devrait \u00eatre une priorit\u00e9.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-80f0c13\" data-block-id=\"80f0c13\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-align-left\">Au cours du processus d&rsquo;examen obligatoire de la Loi sur les transports au Canada de 2016, l&rsquo;UNF a affirm\u00e9 que les chemins de fer devraient \u00eatre activement gouvern\u00e9s et r\u00e9glement\u00e9s en tant qu&rsquo;infrastructure vitale pour servir les int\u00e9r\u00eats plus larges de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne. Une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 saine, diversifi\u00e9e et dynamique fournira un large \u00e9ventail d&rsquo;activit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques dans des communaut\u00e9s r\u00e9parties sur l&rsquo;ensemble du territoire, qui doivent toutes \u00eatre reli\u00e9es au syst\u00e8me de transport et soutenues par celui-ci.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<section
