* Important Change In Interview Schedule*

In the course of the training workshops which have already been held in Edmonton, Yorkton, Moncton, it became pretty clear that our original schedule was planned by a grain farmer... and that it didn't make sense in terms of reflecting busy periods in all types of farming.

In addition, drought conditions meant that harvest, such as it was, is actually finished in large areas of Saskatchewan and Alberta, just when we were intending to do the harvest round of interviews.

Accordingly, the new schedule for interviews is as follows:

Round 1 - Autumn Oct 15 - Nov 25
Round 2 - Winter Feb 15 - March 20
Round 3 - Spring May 15 - June 15
Round 4 - Late Summer Aug 1 - Sept 15

This new schedule not only relieves pressure on the respondent recruitment process; it also makes more sense in terms of catching such events as calving/lambing, greenhouse seeding, more parts of the horticultural harvest, and key marketing and delivery periods.
It will also enable to catch what we hope is a more "normal" prairie harvest period next year.

Training in BC and Quebec will take place in late September.
